POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sous Chef – Pastry & Bakery is second-in-command for the pastry section, responsible for planning production, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality and consistency. The role oversees execution of sugar-free/low-carb recipes and presentation standards, controls costs, and maintains full HACCP compliance, while coaching Chefs de Partie and commis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning & Execution
- Plan daily pastry production and assign tasks to the team
- Ensure quality and consistency across all pastry output
Recipe & Presentation Standards
- Oversee execution of sugar-free/low-carb recipes
- Maintain presentation standards in line with brand guidelines
Cost & Compliance Control
- Control costs through yield management and accurate portioning
- Place ingredient and supply orders
- Maintain full HACCP compliance
Team Coaching & Problem-Solving
- Coach and develop Chefs de Partie and commis
- Resolve production issues in real time
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Culinary or pastry qualification, or equivalent experience
- 7–9 years of pastry/bakery experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Strong knowledge of sugar-free/low-carb recipe execution
- Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
- Cost control and inventory management experience

Role Summary
Responsible for quality control of surveying, positioning and navigation data.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Review survey plans, and verify positioning accuracy, to maintain the quality and integrity of subsurface information used for operational and technical decision-making.
• Check GPS/GNSS data, and review navigation data, so that geological and geophysical observations are captured accurately, validated promptly and communicated to the relevant technical teams.
• Validate coordinate systems, and monitor contractor survey procedures, while ensuring acquisition and interpretation activities remain aligned with the approved technical objectives and quality requirements.
• Review survey-control points, and identify positioning errors, to support reliable subsurface evaluation, reduce uncertainty and provide clear technical recommendations to drilling and reservoir stakeholders.
• Investigate survey discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions, to maintain the quality and integrity of subsurface information used for operational and technical decision-making.
• Review daily survey outputs, and maintain QC records, so that geological and geophysical observations are captured accurately, validated promptly and communicated to the relevant technical teams.
• Coordinate with acquisition teams, and support field survey personnel, while ensuring acquisition and interpretation activities remain aligned with the approved technical objectives and quality requirements.
• Verify final survey deliverables, and review equipment calibration records, to support reliable subsurface evaluation, reduce uncertainty and provide clear technical recommendations to drilling and reservoir stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with technical specifications, and participate in QC meetings, to maintain the quality and integrity of subsurface information used for operational and technical decision-making.
• Prepare survey-quality reports, and support final acceptance of positioning data, so that geological and geophysical observations are captured accurately, validated promptly and communicated to the relevant technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience
• Surveying, Geomatics or related qualification.
• Seismic/Oil & Gas survey experience.
• Knowledge of GPS/GNSS and navigation systems.
• Strong data-quality skills.

• Maintain annual training plans, and coordinate training-needs assessments, to ensure recruitment and people- support activities are completed accurately, consistently and in line with approved manpower requirements.
• Schedule technical training, and schedule HSE training, while maintaining professional candidate communication, reliable records and timely coordination with hiring stakeholders.
• Coordinate external training providers, and arrange training venues and logistics, so that qualified Oil & Gas candidates progress efficiently through screening, selection, offer and mobilisation stages.
• Track employee participation, and maintain competency records, to provide management with clear recruitment visibility and maintain a controlled, auditable hiring process.
• Monitor certificate expiry dates, and coordinate refresher training, to ensure recruitment and people-support activities are completed accurately, consistently and in line with approved manpower requirements.
• Maintain training attendance records, and evaluate training feedback, while maintaining professional candidate communication, reliable records and timely coordination with hiring stakeholders.
• Prepare training reports, and monitor training budgets where applicable, so that qualified Oil & Gas candidates progress efficiently through screening, selection, offer and mobilisation stages.
• Support competency-assurance programs, and coordinate inductions, to provide management with clear recruitment visibility and maintain a controlled, auditable hiring process.
• Support onboarding training, and maintain training databases, to ensure recruitment and people-support activities are completed accurately, consistently and in line with approved manpower requirements.
• Prepare audit documentation, and recommend improvements to training delivery, while maintaining professional candidate communication, reliable records and timely coordination with hiring stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field.
• Oil & Gas training/HR experience.
• Strong administration and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills.
